Outdoor composite Co-Extrusion decking is made of plastic, natural fibre and some additive combination using special equipment. It is a perfect blend of natural fibers and plastics to maintain the natural impression of wood, but with a rich plastic color. Development History of Composite Co-Extrusion Decking
In the early days of the composite floor industry, most manufacturers used a single extrusion process to produce panels. The raw materials are mixed together and then extruded in a custom mold at high temperature and pressure. Although boards are not as easily broken, cracked, or decayed as wood, they are easily scratched, coloured, and discoloured. Co-extrusion changed all that. Co-extrusion is the second generation of WPC products, also known as co-extrusion “cover layer” or “cover plate”.
